Scholarly Method and Compilations

Abd al-Jabbar focused his scholarship on organizing, authenticating, and synthesizing prophetic traditions from classical collections into integrated thematic reference works . In March 2013, he completed al-Musnad al-Mawdui al-Jami lil-Kutub al-Ashara (The Comprehensive Thematic Musnad of the Ten Books), designed as an exhaustive thematic index and cross-referencing work (takhrij) documenting transmission lines, variants, and corroborating narrations (shawahid) across ten primary hadith compendia .

In Shawwal 1435 AH (August 2014 CE), he completed al-Jami al-Sahih lil-Sunan wa al-Masanid (The Authentic Comprehensive Collection of Sunan and Musnads) . The work was distilled from an examination of over one hundred thousand narrations down to approximately fifteen thousand authentic traditions arranged by topic without repetition, drawing directly from the two Sahih collections of al-Bukhari and Muslim, Ibn Khuzaymah, Ibn Hibban, the four Sunan compendia, and the Musnad of Ahmad ibn Hanbal, while incorporating the authentication judgments of modern scholars such as al-Albani and Shu'ayb al-Arna'ut . His method synthesized multiple authentic phrasings into single coherent texts while cross-referencing detailed chains and variants in al-Musnad al-Mawdui .
