al-Taqrir wa al-Tahbir ala Kitab al-Tahrir (The Confirmation and Embellishment upon the Book of Verification) is a classical commentary on Islamic legal theory (usul al-fiqh). Written as a blended commentary (sharh mamzuj) on the legal manual al-Tahrir fi Usul al-Fiqh, the work unpacks the condensed root text, clarifies ambiguities, articulates evidential bases, and examines the theoretical divergences between the Hanafi and Shafi'i legal traditions.
