Adnan al-Jabiri (Adnan ibn Sulayman ibn Mus'id al-Jabiri) is a contemporary Saudi researcher in Islamic education based in Madinah, known for his pedagogical studies on methods of dialogue derived from the biography of the Prophet's companions .
Education and scholarship
Al-Jabiri completed his graduate studies at the Islamic University of Madinah, where he earned a master's degree in Islamic education from the Department of Education in the Faculty of Da'wah and Usul al-Din during the academic year 1433–1434 AH (2012–2013 CE), graduating with distinction and first-class honors . His thesis, supervised by Dr. Abd al-Rahman ibn Raja' Allah al-Ahmadi, was titled Uslub al-Hiwar min Khilal Sirat Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr wa Tatbiqatuhu al-Tarbawiyya ("The Method of Dialogue Through the Biography of Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr and Its Educational Applications"), in which he analyzed the communicative and educational principles demonstrated in the life and missionary work of the early companion Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr .
He subsequently reworked and expanded his biographical and pedagogical research into a dedicated volume published in Madinah in 1434 AH (2013 CE), titled Sirat al-Sahabi al-Jalil Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr alongside Adab al-Hiwar min Khilal Sirat Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr ("The Etiquette of Dialogue Through the Biography of Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr") . This work featured pedagogical and religious annotations contributed by Dr. Husayn ibn Naffa' al-Jabiri of the Islamic University of Madinah and was reviewed by Dr. Abd al-Haqq ibn Hammadi al-Hawwas of Taibah University .
