Miat Hadith Saqita min Sunan al-Nasai al-Kubra al-Matbua (One Hundred Hadiths Omitted from the Printed Editions of al-Sunan al-Kubra) is a collection of one hundred hadiths with their chains of transmission (asanid) compiled from an ancient manuscript of al-Sunan al-Kubra by al-Nasa'i (215–303 AH / 829–915 CE) that were missing across printed editions of the work .

Source Manuscript and Scope

The collection is drawn from an ancient Maghribi manuscript preserving the recension of Hamzah al-Kinani, a direct transmitter of the Sunan from al-Nasa'i . The manuscript contains audition certificates (sama'at), chains of transmission tracing directly back to al-Nasa'i, and reading notations (qira'at) .

The missing texts documented in this compilation do not occur in a single continuous gap; rather, they represent lacunae scattered across various thematic sections of al-Sunan al-Kubra in modern printed editions, including the edition published by Mu'assasat al-Risalah . For example, the omissions include approximately five hadiths in the book of purification (Kitab al-Taharah) and ten in the book of prayer (Kitab al-Salah) . The collection gathers these omitted narrations together in sequential order, documenting each hadith along with its specific locus and number in the original arrangement .

Relation to Other Recensions

The narrations preserved in al-Kinani's recension constitute additions over the surviving manuscripts used for the printed editions of al-Sunan al-Kubra . Furthermore, two hadiths in the compilation (numbers 87 and 88) are additions absent from al-Nasa'i's condensed collection, al-Mujtaba (also known as al-Sunan al-Sughra), and were not indexed under al-Nasa'i's narrations by al-Mizzi in his cross-referencing work Tuhfat al-Ashraf bi-Ma'rifat al-Atraf .
