Majmu Rasail Abd al-Rahman ibn Wahf al-Qahtani (Majmūʿ Rasāʾil ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Saʿīd ibn ʿAlī ibn Wahf al-Qaḥṭānī) is a posthumous compilation of treatises written by the Saudi student of Islamic law Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'id ibn Wahf al-Qahtani (1403–1422 AH / 1983–2001 CE), edited and assembled by his father, Sa'id ibn Ali ibn Wahf al-Qahtani .

Background and Editorial History

The author, Abd al-Rahman al-Qahtani, died alongside his younger brother Abd al-Rahim (1410–1422 AH) in a fatal accident in 1422 AH / 2001 CE while in the early months of his studies at the College of Sharia at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh . Following his death, his father, Sa'id ibn Ali ibn Wahf al-Qahtani, retrieved his writings, manuscripts, and school research papers .

The editor verified the manuscripts against the author's handwritten originals, checked and referenced the hadiths against canonical collections, and added annotations and commentary in footnotes while preserving the core texts . While each treatise was initially published as an independent booklet, the complete collection was formally arranged and introduced by the editor on 4 Muharram 1431 AH / 2010 CE to preserve the writings in a single compendium .
