Abd al-Aziz al-Kattani noted that over forty scholars transmitted from al-Miyanji, praising him as trustworthy and noble (thiqah nabil), while Abu al-Walid al-Baji evaluated him as a well-known hadith scholar of acceptable reliability (la ba'sa bihi) .
