Jamharat al-Ajza al-Hadithiyya (Collection of Hadith Booklets) is a modern compilation bringing together nineteen rare classical Hadith opuscules (ajza' hadithiyya) by various traditional scholars . The collection was edited and cross-referenced by Muhammad Ziyad 'Umar Tiklah, introduced by Abd al-Qadir al-Arna'ut, and published in Riyadh .
Contents and Scope
The collection compiles nineteen short, specialized Hadith treatises and dictation sessions from classical transmitters and traditionists . Among the texts included in the compendium are:
- Ahadith al-Arba'in and Min Hadith Ibn al-Muqri' 'an Shuyukhih by Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Ibn al-Muqri' .
- Hadith al-Musafaha, Hadith al-Silafi 'an Hakim al-Kufa al-Thaqafi, and Kalam al-Silafi 'ala al-Arba'in al-Wad'aniyya by Abu Tahir Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Silafi , .
- Six dictation sessions (majalis) from the Amali of Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Baghandi .
- Juz' fihi Ahadith Abi 'Amr Bakr ibn Bakkar al-Qaysi al-Basri, transmitted by Abu al-Shaykh al-Asbahani from Ibrahim ibn Sa'dan .
- Hadith Badr ibn al-Haytham .
- Hadith al-Baghawi wa-Ibn Sa'id wa-l-Hashimi, in the transmission of Ibn Zunbur .
- Hadith al-Taqi Ibn al-Majd Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn 'Isa al-Ba'labakki .
- Hadith Ibn Hadhlam Abu al-Hasan Ahmad ibn Sulayman ibn Ayyub .
- Hadith al-Humyan by al-Tabari .
- Two dictated narrations (hadithan) by Abu Ishaq Ibrahim ibn Khalaf al-Ghassani .
- Hadith al-'Uthmani Abu Muhammad 'Abd Allah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yahya al-Dibaji .
Publication
The work was edited, verified, and annotated with Hadith takhrij by Muhammad Ziyad 'Umar Tiklah and prefaced by the Hadith scholar 'Abd al-Qadir al-Arna'ut . Its first edition was issued by Maktabat al-Ubaykan in Riyadh in 1421 AH / 2001 CE .
