al-Badr al-Tamam bima Sahha min Adillat al-Ahkam (The Full Moon Concerning What Is Authentic Among the Evidences of Rulings) is a compilation of authentic legal hadiths prepared and arranged by Abu Khallad Nasir bin Said al-Saif based on a collection assembled by his teacher Muhammad bin Salih al-Harbi.

Background and Compilation

The core material of the work was gathered by Muhammad bin Salih al-Harbi, who selected authentic traditions concerning legal rulings (ahadith al-ahkam) that were transmitted in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, either jointly as agreed-upon (muttafaq alayh) reports or individually by one of the two authorities. Al-Saif subsequently undertook the editorial preparation, arrangement, and titling of the collection.

For the structural division of books and chapters, as well as the vocalization and vocal control of the texts, al-Saif relied upon Bulugh al-Maram min Adillat al-Ahkam by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, following the critical edition prepared by Samir bin Amin al-Zuhayri.

Structure and Methodology

The work is organized according to standard jurisprudence chapters, opening with the "Book of Purification" (Kitab al-Tahara) and subdivided into sections such as waters (Bab al-Miyah), vessels (Bab al-Aniya), the removal of impurities (Bab Izalat al-Najasa), and ablution (Bab al-Wudu).

The text presents the hadiths in an abridged format, citing the Companion narrator, the prophetic text, and the attribution indicating whether the tradition was recorded by al-Bukhari, Muslim, or both.

Publication

The book was published in a single volume by Dar Ibn Khuzaymah.
