al-Ahadith al-Qudsiyya (The Sacred Hadiths) is a thematic compilation of divine hadiths (ahadith qudsiyya) prepared and edited by Jamal Muhammad Ali al-Shaqiri . Published in two volumes by Maktabat Dar al-Thaqafah lil-Nashr wa-al-Tawzi' in Amman, Jordan, the work gathers prophetic reports conveying statements attributed to God Almighty from classical hadith literature .

Structure and Content

The work is organized into thematic topical chapters, such as "What Has Been Mentioned Regarding the Virtue of Remembering God Almighty and the Statement of Tawhid" (ما جاء في فضل ذكر الله تعالى وكلمة التوحيد) . Under these headings, the compiler brings together relevant narrations from major canonical collections, including Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Jami' al-Tirmidhi, Sunan al-Nasa'i, and Sunan Ibn Majah .

The subjects addressed within the collection include:

  • The merits of assemblies of divine remembrance (dhikr), the praise of God, and the declaration of faith (tawhid) .
  • The reckoning on the Day of Judgment, including the salvation of believers through the testimony of faith .
  • Divine forgiveness, devotion, reliance on God, and devoting oneself exclusively to His worship .
  • Divine creation upon primordial monotheism (fitra and hunafa'), humility, and descriptions of the people of Paradise and Hellfire .

Method

For each narration, the compiler provides the source citation along with specific references to original book chapters and volume and page numbers from classical printings, such as the Amiri edition of Sahih al-Bukhari and al-Qastallani's commentary margin for Sahih Muslim . The entries reproduce full chains of transmission (asānīd) and the hadith texts, noting variant phrasings (riwāyāt) across parallel transmissions . Where applicable, the compiler also records classical hadith evaluations, such as the gradings of hasan sahih and hasan gharib transmitted by al-Tirmidhi .
