Ahadith an 19 min Ashab Ibn Tabarzad (Hadiths from Nineteen of the Companions of Ibn Tabarzad) is a specialized hadith tract (juz') compiled through the transmission chains of nineteen scholars who studied under the Baghdadi hadith authority Ibn Tabarzad (516–607 AH / 1123–1210 CE).
Compilation and Content
The work gathers hadith narrations transmitted through nineteen teachers among the companions and students of Abu Hafs Umar ibn Muhammad ibn Ma'mar al-Darqazzi al-Baghdadi, famously known as Ibn Tabarzad. The compilation and extraction (takhrij) of these narrations was executed by the hadith scholar Al-Birzali.
Preservation and Publication
A manuscript copy of the tract is preserved in Dar al-Kutub al-Misriyya in Cairo. The text was edited by Muhammad Ziyad Umar Tuklah and published in Riyadh by Maktabat al-Ubaykan (1421 AH / 2001 CE) as part of a multi-tract collection titled Jamharat al-Ajza' al-Hadithiyyah (Compendium of Hadith Tracts).
