This academic study in Islamic theology systematically extracts, categorizes, and examines the theological topics and doctrines contained in Kitab al-Tawhid (The Book of Divine Unity), the concluding book of Sahih al-Bukhari. It analyzes these matters in light of the creed of early Muslim scholarship (al-salaf al-salih), highlighting al-Bukhari's methodology of deriving doctrinal points directly from the Quran and the Sunnah and exploring his refutations of opposing theological factions.
