Salih bin Saeed bin Halabi is a researcher and author associated with the Islamic University of Madinah, known for his published studies on hadith criticism and Islamic history.

Academic activity and studies

During the 1388–1389 AH academic year, he studied at the Islamic University of Madinah and participated in its student activities. These included an educational excursion to the Uhud area organized by the university's social administration and attended by its leadership, including vice president Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz and teachers Abd al-Qadir Shaybah al-Hamd and Hammad al-Ansari, where he delivered a speech titled Mihnat al-Islam fi al-qarn al-rabi' 'ashar ("The Ordeal of Islam in the Fourteenth Century").

His research appeared in the student forum section of the university's scholarly journal. In his biographical study Lamahat Tarikhiyya min Hayat Ibn Taymiyya ("Historical Glimpses from the Life of Ibn Taymiyya"), he surveyed the intellectual, social, and political conditions of the seventh and eighth centuries AH, addressing the theological refutations and military leadership of Ibn Taymiyya. He also authored Nazrat fi Hadith Ashabi ka al-Nujum ("Perspectives on the Hadith 'My Companions are like Stars'"), in which he compiled six textual variants of the tradition to evaluate their transmission chains and examine their use in works of legal theory concerning the consensus of the Companions.
