Musaad bin Musaid al-Husayni is a contemporary scholar and researcher in Quranic exegesis (tafsir) .
Education and Academic Work
Musaad bin Musaid bin Hudayrim al-Husayni pursued his higher education at the Islamic University of Madinah, studying within the Department of Tafsir at the College of the Holy Quran . He completed his master's degree with a thesis titled Manhaj Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab fi al-Tafsir, in which he analyzed the exegetical method and theological deductions of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab alongside a critical edition of a section of his Quranic commentary .
He subsequently earned his doctorate from the same department with first-class honors under the supervision of Muhammad ibn Umar Hawiyyah . His doctoral dissertation comprised a study and critical edition of the first two volumes of Ismail al-Taymi al-Isbahani's manuscript al-Iydah fi al-Tafsir, spanning from the beginning of Surah al-Fatihah through the end of Surah al-Ma'idah .
