Academic Career and Research

Al-Saadi served as an associate professor in the Department of Aqidah (Creed) at Taif University in Saudi Arabia. His research has focused on Quranic theology and Sunni creedal principles, as articulated in his monograph Haqiqat al-Mathal al-Ala wa-Atharuh ("The Reality of the Supreme Attribute and Its Effects"). In this study, he investigated the theological connotations of the Quranic term al-mathal al-ala (the supreme attribute), analyzing the semantic nuances of the term and reconciling classical interpretations transmitted from the early generations of Muslim scholars (al-Salaf) regarding divine perfection, uniqueness, and the negation of deficiencies and anthropomorphic equals.
