Isa al-Naami, whose full name is Isa ibn Muhsin ibn Isa al-Naami, is a contemporary Islamic scholar and researcher specializing in Islamic creed (Aqidah) . He is best known for his theological study Daf' Da'wa al-Mu'arid al-'Aqli 'an al-Ahadith al-Muta'alliqah bi-Masa'il al-I'tiqad ("Repelling the Claim of Rational Opposition to Hadiths Related to Matters of Creed") .

Education and Scholarship

Al-Naami completed his graduate studies at Umm al-Qura University in Mecca, earning a master's degree in creed from the College of Da'wah and Usul al-Din with an excellent rating and a recommendation for publication .

His scholarly contribution centers on theological defenses of the Sunnah, specifically addressing claimed contradictions between rational thought and authentic prophetic traditions. In Daf' Da'wa al-Mu'arid al-'Aqli 'an al-Ahadith al-Muta'alliqah bi-Masa'il al-I'tiqad, he examined hadiths recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim across topics such as divine unity (Tawhid), faith (Iman), prophethood, the Day of Judgment, divine decree (Qadar), and matters of the unseen (Ghayb) . The study aims to demonstrate that sound transmitted proofs do not contradict definitive rational principles, responding directly to rationalist and theological counter-arguments .

Standing and Reception
