Asma bint Rashid al-Ruwaishid is a contemporary Islamic preacher (da'iyah) and author active in Riyadh, known for educational works on creed and spiritual cultivation, including Tariqak ila Taqwiyat Imanak (Your Path to Strengthening Your Faith).
Preaching and Educational Activity
Al-Ruwaishid has engaged in Islamic outreach and community education, setting aside space in her home to host religious classes and lectures for housewives and domestic workers. Under this initiative, she scheduled regular morning sessions from 8:30 to 11:00, designating Saturdays for domestic workers of Philippine origin and Wednesdays for those from Indonesia. While al-Ruwaishid delivered lessons directly to the housewives, she collaborated with two female instructors fluent in Tagalog and Indonesian to teach the domestic workers attending with them.
In addition to her educational gatherings, al-Ruwaishid authored Tariqak ila Taqwiyat Imanak (Your Path to Strengthening Your Faith), a single-volume treatise published by the Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance of Foreign Communities in al-Rabwah focusing on the realization and perfection of faith (iman), as well as al-Tawakkul 'ala Allah (Reliance upon Allah).
