Al-Sanidi also wrote articles and public commentary for Islamic periodicals, notably Majallat al-Bayan, addressing institutional Islamic education, charitable and relief endeavors, and the humanitarian and socio-political conditions of Muslim populations in regions such as the Philippines and Chechnya .
